These terms govern your use of the Mehrizm assessment portal at profthakur.com. By creating an account or taking an assessment, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the portal.
1. What this service is
The portal provides psychometric assessments developed from the lifetime work of Prof. (Dr.) Giridhar P. Thakur, together with the scored reports generated from your responses. It is a tool for self-awareness, reflection and guided counselling.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account. A younger person may take an assessment only through, and with the consent of, a parent, guardian or an institution acting in that capacity. You agree to give accurate details when you register, to keep your password and one-time codes to yourself, and to tell us promptly at info@mehrizm.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission. You are responsible for activity that takes place under your account.
3. Honest responses
An assessment is only as useful as the honesty of the answers given to it. You agree to complete assessments yourself, without assistance intended to distort the result, and not to take an assessment on another person's behalf except where you are formally acting as their facilitator.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, extract, republish or resell the assessment items, scoring logic or report content;
- attempt to gain access to another user's account, data or report;
- probe, scan, overload or interfere with the portal or the systems it runs on;
- use automated means to access the portal, other than a search engine indexing public pages;
- use the portal for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that infringes anyone's rights.
5. Intellectual property
The assessments, their items, the scoring methodology, the report design, and the text and images on this portal remain our property or that of our licensors, and are protected by copyright. Your report belongs to you: you may keep it, print it, and share it with a professional of your choosing. Everything else may not be reproduced or distributed without our written permission.
6. Purchases and refunds
Where an assessment is paid, the price shown at checkout is the price payable, in Indian Rupees, inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is taken through our payment gateway; we do not receive or store your card, UPI or bank details. Because access to an assessment is granted immediately on payment, a purchase is generally non-refundable once the assessment has been started. If you were charged in error, charged twice, or could not access what you paid for, write to info@mehrizm.com within 7 days and we will investigate and refund where the claim is justified. Approved refunds are returned by the same method used to pay, normally within 7 to 10 working days.
7. Reports and facilitators
Some assessments are administered through a facilitator or administrator, who assigns the assessment to you and releases the report when scoring is complete. Where that is the case, the facilitator can see your submission and your report. Timing of release is at the facilitator's discretion.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the portal available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend access for maintenance, and we may add, change or withdraw features and assessments. We may also update these terms; if we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and for a significant change we will notify you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the portal after that means you accept the revised terms.
9. Suspension and termination
You may close your account at any time by writing to us. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is being used to harm another user, or where we are required to do so by law. If we close your account other than for a breach, we will refund any assessment you have paid for but not yet started.
10. Limitation of liability
The portal and its reports are provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, for any decision you take on the basis of an assessment result, or for loss arising from an interruption of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Where liability can be limited, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
11. Privacy
Our handling of your personal information is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes arising from them are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction in India.
